Swing

"Meh."

We took Jack to the park for the first time last weekend.  

He was thoroughly unimpressed with the swing.

He was much more interested in watching all the other kids.

Cheerios

Despite having the keen dexterity (for an almost 8-month old, at least) to get most everything else, 

food or not, to go in his mouth, Jack is having trouble eating Cheerios 

(actually Trader Joe's Multigrain O's, but anyway).

They are fun to play with, though, and throw on the floor.

It was finally nice enough today to sit outside.

Jack had a terrible time, obviously.

Derrick came along just in case there was a meltdown.

It was a success.

- "Pears and cottage cheese are so good, I have to scream!"
  (The neighbors are going to be excited when it is warm enough to open the windows.)
