Father's Day II

On Father's Day, we went up to Gloucester and checked out Maritime Gloucester.  They have a small museum and a tiny aquarium with touch tanks.  We had the place to ourselves and Jack seemed to enjoy splashing in the pools and getting wet as much as seeing/touching the sea animals.

Beach

We went to the beach for the first time this summer recently.
As Derrick said, the fun part of this year is there was no eating of sand on Jack's part,
just playing and making a mess, which we can handle.

I like cheese too.

Jack delighted us with his first sentence recently.  More of a statement.  Or declaration.
While eating pizza he blurted out, "I like cheese!"  Then he said it again in case we weren't sure.
Now, here is Derrick trying to get him to say it again on video.  Fat chance.

Lynn Woods

Now that Jack is a pretty confident walker, we try to let him walk on his own as much as possible and bring a stroller for when he gets tired.
What better place to let him run around and explore than the fire roads of Lynn Woods?

Walking tends to be pretty slow since there are plenty of sticks, rocks, leaves, and plants that require close inspection.

Hoping not to get poison ivy.

"This is great!"  (I'm assuming that's what he would say.)

Salem Willows

Jack and Dad on the first trip to Salem Willows this year.

Jack's first time eating popcorn, so it might as well be chocolate, vanilla, and wintergreen flavored.

Jack the giant 21-month-old.

So all we could do was to sit, sit, sit, sit...

Oh, you know, just another morning reading The Cat in the Hat while sitting on your Scoot About and wearing fire truck jammies.  No big deal.
