Maine

Last weekend we went up to Maine for the mostly annual family gathering at Grampy's.  

Jack got his own personal swing, which he enjoyed.

We saw a nice sunset from the porch.

Derrick got to roast some marshmallows.

Jack also got to ride on the bench swing with Nana.

A successful trip, overall.  Jack did great on his vacations this month, and now we can get back into the swing of things at home as we have no more travel plans for the rest of the summer.

Wildwood

Jack went on his first vacation to Wildwood, NJ.  

All things considered (very long drives, new setting, crowds, off schedule, etc.), he did super duper awesome and was his usual charming self for the most part.  Unless it was nap time.  Or we were on the beach.

Enjoyed it so much he actually stopped trying to pry the (too big) helmet off once we got going.
