Snow Day

We had our first significant snow of the season today.  Jack couldn't wait to get outside. 

Skinny snowman doesn't need a nose.

Derrick made spaghetti sauce today.

I think Jack approved.

And despite how it looks, Jack actually did quite well eating spaghetti with a big fork.

Christmas Morning

Coming downstairs to see the train set.

Pretty psyched.

I also got Jack a few old Bert & Ernie books.  He had to read these right away.

Some blocks to build a fire truck and bulldozer.

And a tea set, of course.

Jack was sick over Christmas again this year.  Come to find out after the holiday that it was another ear infection, though many of the symptoms he had last winter did not appear this time, so we just assumed a virus.  Thus, Jack was absent from or only made brief appearances at some gatherings.  

After a course of antibiotics, Jack is back to his normal self, running around, and giving us his unsolicited opinions on many topics.

Fingers crossed for a healthy-ish 2015!
