Spring Weekend

We checked out a new park last weekend and they had a sand pit…with hand controlled excavators!

And some swings, of course.

Saturday night (veggie) hot dogs, (veggie) beans, and brown bread.

Just making sure Jack has a proper New England upbringing.

In about 15 years I anticipate seeing similar faces while Jack is learning to drive a real car.

Makes me laugh every time.

Spring?

It is finally warm enough to go outside and play without worrying about frostbite.

Jack was happy to be able to haul away some snow in his dump truck.

He was also helpful in raking the snow so it melted faster.

All the snow is gone at this point, which is nice!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

He did actually start from the beginning, but I didn't have my phone on me of course.
Jack is getting better at picking out details in books, and since we tend to read the same books for weeks at a time, he knows the stories just from the repetition and WILL notice if you miss/mess up a word.
